Gravis V

The Sonus Faber Gravis V active subwoofer is designed for low-frequency reproduction and to complement Sonus faber loudspeaker collections. It belongs to the Gravis Collection, which continues the company’s work in subwoofer design following the Gravis FB100, launched in 1986, and the Sonus faber Cremona M, introduced 10 years later. The collection combines developing technology with Sonus faber’s natural sound and Italian hand craftsmanship.

Integration with Sonus faber systems

Gravis III, V and VI are the most powerful models in Sonus faber’s active subwoofer line. They were developed to work with the loudspeaker collections that have shaped the brand’s range, with Gravis III intended to complement Olympica Nova and Gravis V and VI designed for use with the Homage Tradition and Reference collections.

All 3 models share a cabinet covered in black leather. Their distinction comes from the hand-finished wooden top, allowing the different versions to relate visually to their associated loudspeaker ranges.

Wooden top finishes

The Gravis III is available with Wengé or Walnut matte top finishes, providing a visual connection with the Olympica Nova collection. Piano Black is also offered as a discreet finish for a subwoofer that can be integrated with different audio systems and environments.

Dedicated app

Gravis III, V and VI can be configured and operated using a dedicated app for Android and iOS. The app is designed to make the subwoofers straightforward to set up and use, with control focused on sound reproduction.
