The Sonus faber Gravis II is a subwoofer with a 10" Ultra Long Throw down-firing speaker unit, a front-firing 10" aluminium alloy diaphragm passive infra-bass radiator and a high-current 400W Class AB amplifier.

Sonus faber began developing subwoofers with the Gravis FB100 in 1986, followed by the Cremona M subwoofers. The Gravis collection returns to this part of the company’s history, combining current technology with Sonus faber’s natural sound and Italian hand-craftsmanship.

Gravis I and Gravis II are the smaller models in the Gravis collection. They are designed for straightforward integration into living environments and can be used with audio and audio/video systems. The Gravis II is also intended to complement the Sonus faber Sonetto collection of loudspeakers.

Its relationship with the Sonetto family is reflected in the design, including a soft-touch leather top with a hot-branded Sonus faber logo. The available finishes are Matte White, Piano Black, Wood and Wengé.

The rear panel provides connectivity for integrating the subwoofer with a loudspeaker system, whether the aim is blended musical sub-bass or powerful, percussive home-theatre bass. Used with a loudspeaker system, the Gravis II produces a wide sound field, with fast, solid bass and substantial depth.
