Gravis I

The Sonus faber Gravis I is a compact subwoofer designed for integration into living environments and use with almost any audio or audio/video system. It is the smallest model in the Gravis Collection, and is also intended to partner with the Sonetto Collection loudspeakers.

The Gravis I combines an 8" Ultra Long Throw down-firing speaker unit with a high-current 150W Class AB amplifier. This arrangement is designed to provide accurate and expressive bass reproduction.

Its design follows the Sonetto family, with a soft-touch leather top finished with a hot-branded Sonus faber logo. Available finishes are Matte White, Piano Black, Wood and Wengé.

Sonus faber’s experience with subwoofers dates back to 1986, when the Gravis FB100 was launched. The Cremona M subwoofers followed, and the Gravis collection represents a return to this part of the company’s history, combining newer technology with Sonus faber’s natural sound and Italian hand-craftsmanship.
