Golia

The Bassocontinuo Golia is a flagship high-end equipment rack designed for reference audio systems where stability, resonance control and mechanical isolation are essential.

Its substantial construction combines 60mm solid stainless-steel supports with carefully selected layers of Valchromat, aluminium, HDF and FENIX NTA. This multi-material structure creates an exceptionally rigid and well-damped platform, while multiple stages of decoupling use elastomers of different densities to help reduce the transfer of unwanted vibration between the floor, rack and audio components.

The three-shelf Golia weighs approximately 156kg and is built to accommodate even the heaviest high-end electronics. The bottom shelf can support equipment weighing up to 150kg, while the remaining shelves are rated for loads of up to 80kg each. Its modular construction also allows the rack to evolve as a system changes over time.

Special attention has been given to the upper platform, making Golia particularly well suited to sensitive source components such as turntables, digital players and reference-level electronics. Its vibration-control performance has also been evaluated using independent laboratory testing with accelerometers.
