The Monitor Audio Gold C250 6G is a three-way centre channel loudspeaker for Gold Series 6G home theatre systems. Its design is intended for dialogue, central sound elements and musical soundtracks, with a focus on clear reproduction, detailed dynamics and natural tonality.
High frequencies are handled by the latest MPD III high-frequency transducer, supported by HDT technology. The 3-inch C-CAM mid-driver covers the midrange, while twin 6-inch bass drivers reproduce the lower frequencies. Together, these drivers provide detailed treble, natural midrange reproduction and controlled bass for dialogue, vocals, instruments, effects and music.
The Gold C250 6G uses a new crossover design to manage the transition between its drivers. Its driver arrangement, cabinet engineering and internal acoustic optimisation are designed to provide coherent reproduction across the frequency range, with a wide soundstage that anchors the centre of a surround sound system.
Monitor Audio offers the centre speaker in Macassar wood veneer, High-Gloss Black and Satin White. The Gold C250 6G is intended for home theatre and stereo applications where dialogue, effects and musical passages need to remain precise and intelligible from every seat in the room.
