The Monitor Audio Gold 500 6G is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker for high-fidelity music and home cinema. It is the flagship model in the Gold Series, combining advanced driver technology with a carefully engineered cabinet for clarity, precision and dynamic range.
High frequencies are handled by Monitor Audio’s MPD III high-frequency transducer, which provides detailed treble with transparency and minimal distortion. The HDT (High Definition Tweeter) and C-CAM 3-inch mid-driver reproduce the midrange, while twin 8-inch bass drivers cover the low frequencies with deep, controlled and impactful bass. This driver arrangement supports natural vocals, expressive instruments and cinematic soundtracks.
The Gold 500 6G uses a ported cabinet with HiVe II port technology to improve airflow and bass performance while reducing turbulence and distortion. Cast aluminium outriggers provide stability, and magnetic grilles are supplied. Finish options are Macassar wood veneer, High-Gloss Black and Satin White, allowing the speaker to suit contemporary and traditional interiors.
