Gold 50 6G

The Monitor Audio Gold 50 6G is a compact two-way bookshelf speaker and the smallest model in the Gold Series 6G. Its adaptable design suits smaller rooms, desktop systems, and use within a larger home audio or home theatre system, with a compact cabinet intended to deliver high-fidelity performance.

Monitor Audio uses the latest MPD III high-frequency transducer for transparent, airy and precise treble with minimal distortion. A 6-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver, incorporating HDT technology, covers the mid and low frequencies with a tight, controlled and dynamic response. The combination is designed to produce a coherent, natural soundstage for music and film, with clarity, depth and musicality.

The ported cabinet uses HiVe II technology to optimise airflow and bass response, reducing turbulence while keeping the low frequencies powerful and controlled. The Gold 50 6G is compatible with the ST-2 Universal Stand, providing further flexibility when positioning the speaker for acoustic performance. Magnetic grilles protect the drivers and give the cabinet a clean appearance when fitted.

Monitor Audio offers the speaker in Macassar wood veneer, High-Gloss Black and Satin White. The combination of MPD III, HDT, C-CAM and HiVe II technologies provides a compact loudspeaker design for flexible placement across a range of listening spaces.
