The Monitor Audio Gold 300 6G is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker for high-performance stereo systems and home theatre setups. It combines advanced driver technology with a ported cabinet, cast aluminium outriggers and a choice of 3 finishes.
The high frequencies are handled by Monitor Audio’s latest MPD III high-frequency transducer, while the HDT and C-CAM 3-inch mid-driver reproduces vocals and instruments through the midrange. Low frequencies come from twin 6-inch bass drivers. Together, these drive units cover the frequency spectrum with a controlled transition between the high, mid and low bands.
The ported cabinet uses HiVe II technology to optimise airflow and bass response while minimising turbulence and unwanted coloration. Cast aluminium outriggers provide stability, and the supplied magnetic grilles can be fitted for a clean front-panel appearance.
The Monitor Audio Gold 300 6G is available in Macassar wood veneer, High-Gloss Black and Satin White. Its cabinet design and driver arrangement are suited to both music and cinematic soundtracks.
