The Fyne Audio F703SP is a floorstanding speaker built in Scotland, developed from the F703 and incorporating technology from the F1 Series. Its 250mm IsoFlare point source driver is similar to the unit used in the F1-10, combining a large neodymium high-frequency magnet system with a 3” titanium dome. This arrangement is designed to reduce distortion significantly and provide a more consistent frequency response.
The crossover has been redesigned using computer modelling and listening sessions. It uses high-grade Claritycap capacitors, Neotech PC-OCC wiring and gold-plated WBT Nextgen 0703 connectors. Fyne Audio also carries out cryogenic treatment of the crossover at its own facilities to improve signal clarity.
A heavy F1-grade machined aluminium platform supports the F703SP, with M12 threaded support cones providing stability and helping the speaker reproduce precise low-frequency detail. The enclosure is designed to remain firmly supported while delivering its power and dynamic range.
