F703

The Fyne Audio F703 is a UK-built, midsized floorstanding loudspeaker that brings technology from the F1 series into a twin cavity tuned cabinet. It combines a 250mm IsoFlare point source driver with a 250mm multi-fibre bass driver, while a BassTrax LF diffuser is integrated into the down-firing port. As the flagship of the series, the F703 is designed to produce articulate, powerful sound with strong dynamics at real-world volumes.

IsoFlare TM

Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare TM driver uses a point source arrangement in which the bass and midrange driver shares a common centre with the high-frequency unit. Energy is radiated isotropically with constant directivity, following the flare of the driver cone. This allows sound to be produced as though it comes from a single point in space, with stereo imaging maintained even when listening off axis.

BassTrax TM Tractrix Diffuser System

The BassTrax TM Tractrix profile maintains a 90 degree angle at each intersection of the expanding wavefront, avoiding reflections. The arrangement also makes the loudspeaker less critical of room positioning.

FyneFlute TM Surround Technology

Fyne Audio has developed a method intended to reduce the detrimental effect that standard roll rubber surrounds have on driver performance.
