The Fyne Audio F702SP is a hand-built UK floorstanding speaker using the company’s latest acoustic engineering in a twin-cavity tuned cabinet based on the award-winning F702 design. The 200mm IsoFlare driver from the F1-8 is combined with a refined high-frequency waveguide for a smoother frequency response, while the BassTrax low-frequency diffuser manages the cabinet’s bass output.
Its crossover circuitry has been redesigned and optimised through computational modelling and extensive listening tests. High-grade Claritycap capacitors and Neotech PC-OCC wiring are used for signal transfer, with gold-plated WBT Nextgen 0703 terminals providing the connection points. Fyne Audio’s proprietary cryogenic treatment process is also applied to maintain signal integrity.
The F702SP is supported by a heavyweight aluminium platform with M12 threaded support cones for stability. It is intended for use in mid to large-sized rooms and is designed to produce articulate, powerful sound.
