Evolution Speaker II

The Furutech Evolution Speaker II uses Alpha µ-OFC conductors around a polyethylene core to minimise transmission loss and reduce capacitance. Its 24k gold-plated, non-magnetic copper connectors and anti-resonance construction support greater resolution, clarity and dynamics, with a quiet soundstage free from artificial upper-frequency presence-region glare.

The Furutech Evolution Speaker II is a speaker cable from the Evolution II series, using Alpha µ-OFC conductors arranged around a centre PE core to minimise transmission loss. The cable uses an upgraded dielectric and insulation made from RoHS-compliant Pb-free PVC containing anti-resonance carbon particles, together with newly engineered anti-resonance cable clamps.

Its Pure Transmission construction includes rhodium-plated pure copper conductors, including the IEC connectors specified for the Evolution II power cord. The speaker cable is insulated with a special-formula polyethylene to reduce capacitance and is supplied with either High Performance FP-218 (G) spade connectors or FP-202 (G) banana connectors.

  • FP-218 (G) Spade Connector: 24k gold-plated, non-magnetic pure-copper Alpha conductor
  • FP-202 (G) Banana Connector: 24k gold-plated, non-magnetic eutectic cast copper alloy Alpha conductor

The connector options and conductor design are intended to provide greater resolution, clarity and powerful dynamics, with a quiet soundstage in which music develops more fully without artificial upper-frequency ‘presence region’ glare.

Alpha Conductors are composed of fine µ-OFC wire strands and treated with Furutech’s Alpha Cryogenic and Demagnetising Process.
