Evolution Digital II

The Furutech Evolution Digital II brings greater resolution, clarity and powerful dynamics, with an ultra-quiet soundstage that allows music to develop more fully without upper-frequency glare. Its anti-resonance cable clamps and upgraded RoHS-compliant, lead-free PVC insulation incorporate carbon particles to reduce resonance and vibration.

The Furutech Evolution Digital II is a digital interconnect available with RCA or XLR connections. The RCA version uses High Performance FP-110 (G) RCA connectors, with a 24K gold-plated, nonmagnetic α (Alpha)-OCC centre pin conductor and Teflon dielectric. Its connector backbone is made from nonmagnetic 24K gold-plated eutectic cast copper alloy, with a nonmagnetic copper alloy outer locking shell.

The XLR version is fitted with High Performance FP-701 M (G) and FP-702 F (G) connectors. A 0.12 mm α (Alpha) conductor wire braid provides the shield, while polypropylene insulation reduces capacitance and damps vibration.

Furutech Evolution Digital II is an update to the Evolution series. It uses newly engineered anti-resonance cable clamps and upgraded dielectric and insulation, including RoHS-compliant Pb-free PVC made with anti-resonance carbon particles. The cable is designed to provide greater resolution, clarity and powerful dynamics, with an ultra-quiet soundstage in which music develops more fully without artificial upper-frequency “presence region” glare.

Furutech’s Pure Transmission philosophy extends to rhodium-plated pure copper conductors and the IEC connectors used on the Evolution II power cord. Signal and power transmission components are treated with advanced processes and designed to control resonance, with attention given to the construction and finish of each element.
