The Furutech Evolution Audio II 1.2m is an audio cable designed for low-noise signal transmission. The Evolution II design updates the Evolution series with anti-resonance cable clamps and RoHS-compliant, lead-free PVC dielectric insulation containing anti-resonance carbon particles.
Furutech’s Pure Transmission design uses rhodium-plated pure copper conductors. The Evolution II power cord also uses rhodium-plated pure copper for its IEC connectors. Cable, power cord and AC distribution components are treated with advanced processes, with attention given to mechanical resonance, insulation and connector construction.

- Double-shielded α (Alpha)-OCC conductors reduce radiated noise.
- Formula GC-303 antimagnetic EMI-absorbent modules surround each cable.
- FP-106 (R) rhodium-plated RCA connectors.
- The centre filament pin in the FP-106 (R) is made from nonmagnetic, rhodium-plated phosphor bronze with a Teflon dielectric.
- The RCA connector backbone is made from nonmagnetic, rhodium-plated eutectic cast brass, with a nonmagnetic brass outer locking shell.
- Shield 1 uses 0.12 mm α (Alpha) conductor wire braid.
- Shield 2 uses special EMI-absorbent Formula GC-303 modules for noise isolation.
- Air-foamed HDPE insulation reduces capacitance and damps vibration.
- The design is intended to provide greater resolution, clarity and dynamic power, with a quiet soundstage in which music develops without artificial upper-frequency presence-region glare.
