Evo 3 Optimum 2m

The IsoTek Evo 3 Optimum 2m is a high-end power cable with three silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper conductors and advanced insulation and shielding. The conductors use square-configured strands for tighter bunching, with each conductor providing a 3sqmm cross-sectional area. IsoTek positions the Optimum as its most sophisticated power cable to date.

Each conductor is formed from high-purity OCC copper, selected for its electrical conductivity, flexibility, and resistance to fatigue and corrosion. The three conductors are arranged in parallel with a slight rotational twist to assist rejection of radio-frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

A Teflon FEP dielectric provides chemical inertness and a very low dielectric constant across a wide frequency range. Cotton filler surrounds the conductors to provide internal strength and reduce microphony, while a Mylar foil wrap adds a further dielectric buffer. An earthed active OFC shield provides high-frequency interference rejection, and the 12.5mm PVC outer jacket combines flexibility with mechanical strength.
