Digital Reference III XLR Digital Cable

The Furutech Digital Reference III XLR, a digital XLR cable, uses double-shielded a (Alpha)-OCC conductors and Formula GC-303 antimagnetic EMI-absorbent modules to reduce radiated and electromagnetic interference. Rhodium-plated phosphor bronze connectors transfer signal without reflections, supporting low jitter, greater resolution, clarity and an ultra-quiet soundstage.

The Furutech Digital Reference III XLR is a balanced digital interconnect cable with hyper-balanced construction. It uses double-shielded a (Alpha)-OCC conductors to reduce radiated noise, with a Formula GC-303 antimagnetic EMI-absorbent module surrounding each cable. Additional shielding comes from special fibreglass and a 0.12 mm a (Alpha) conductor braid.

The cable is fitted with Furutech FP-601M (R) and FP-602F (R) XLR connectors. Their nonmagnetic rhodium-plated phosphor bronze pins provide high contact performance and stable Furutech Pure Transmission signal transfer, while the connector design transfers the signal without reflections for very low jitter performance. All metal parts receive the FURUTECH a (Alpha) Process, comprising super cryogenic and demagnetising treatment.

Air-foamed HDPE insulation reduces capacitance and damps vibration. Furutech Digital Reference III XLR uses a (Alpha) conductors made from fine PCOCC wire strands treated with Furutech’s a (Alpha) cryogenic and demagnetising process. The stated design aims to provide greater resolution, clarity and dynamic range, with a quiet soundstage in which music develops without artificial upper-frequency presence-region glare. The GC-303 modules support deeper, tighter bass, helping to define the venue of the original recording while revealing detail, nuance and energy.
