Diamond Coax .75m

The AudioQuest Diamond Coax .75m uses solid Perfect-Surface Silver conductors to reduce distortion associated with grain boundaries and strand interaction. Its Carbon-Based 6-Layer Noise-Dissipation system manages radio-frequency interference, while 72v Dielectric-Bias System insulation and Hard-Cell Foam maintain signal-pair geometry and reduce dielectric noise. ** Please call for all available configurations **

Solid Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) Conductors

Solid conductors prevent electrical and magnetic interaction between strands. PSS solid silver reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and supports linear RF noise dissipation.

Carbon-Based 6-Layer Noise-Dissipation

Achieving 100% shield coverage is straightforward. Preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment’s ground reference requires AudioQuest’s Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Traditional shielding systems can absorb noise and RF energy before draining it to the component ground, modulating and distorting the critical reference ground plane and, in turn, the signal. NDS uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to shield the shield, absorbing and reflecting most of this noise and RF energy before it reaches the layer connected to ground.

72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) with RF Trap

Insulation is also a dielectric and can act as a shunt filter. Biasing minimises dielectric noise and linearises the filter, improving wide-bandwidth dissipation of induced RF noise.

Hard-Cell Foam Insulation

Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) insulation maintains the critical signal-pair geometry. Any solid material next to a conductor forms part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and then released as distortion. HCF insulation is similar to the foamed PE used in the more affordable Bridges & Falls cables and is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. As nitrogen, like air, does not absorb energy or release it into or from the conductor, distortion is reduced. The material’s stiffness also keeps the conductors’ relationship stable along the cable’s full length, producing a stable impedance character and further reducing distortion.

Cold-Welded, Hanging Silver Directly Over Pure Red Copper

Solid conductors prevent interaction between strands, a major source of dynamic distortion in cables.

Perfect-Surface Silver is AudioQuest’s highest-quality metal. It reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and supports linear RF noise dissipation.
