Diamond Coax .75m

The AudioQuest Diamond Coax .75m helps limit distortion and radio-frequency noise before it reaches the equipment’s ground reference, supporting a cleaner digital signal path. Its solid Perfect-Surface Silver conductors use Hard-Cell Foam insulation, a 72v Dielectric-Bias System and Carbon-Based 6-Layer Noise-Dissipation to maintain geometry and dissipate interference. ** Please call for all available configurations **

Solid Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) Conductors

Solid conductors avoid electrical and magnetic interaction between strands. PSS solid silver reduces distortion associated with grain boundaries and provides linear RF noise dissipation.

Carbon-Based 6-Layer Noise-Dissipation

Achieving 100% shield coverage is straightforward. Preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Conventional shield systems generally absorb noise and RF energy, then drain it to the component ground. This modulates and distorts the critical reference ground plane, which in turn distorts the signal. NDS uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to shield the shield, absorbing and reflecting most of the noise and RF energy before it reaches the grounded layer.

72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) with RF Trap

Insulation also acts as a dielectric and can function as a shunt filter. Biasing reduces dielectric noise and linearises the filter, improving wide-bandwidth dissipation of induced RF noise.

Hard-Cell Foam Insulation

Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) insulation maintains the critical signal-pair geometry. Any solid material next to a conductor forms part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and released as distortion. HCF insulation is similar to the foamed PE used in the more affordable Bridges & Falls cables and is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. Like air, nitrogen does not absorb energy or release it into or from the conductor, reducing distortion. The material's stiffness also keeps the conductors in a stable relationship along the cable's full length, maintaining a stable impedance character and further reducing distortion.

Cold-Welded, Hanging Silver Directly Over Pure Red Copper

Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, a significant source of dynamic distortion in cables. Perfect-Surface Silver is AudioQuest's highest-quality metal. It reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and provides linear RF noise dissipation.
