DCT Digital 1m
The Townshend DCT Digital 1m uses a classic 75 ohm coaxial topology, with a solid copper central conductor supported by an air-blown polyurethane foam web and shielded with copper foil and wire. This maintains the digital signal’s precise transitions, preventing impedance-related echoes and added jitter for the listener.

The Townshend Audio Isolda DCT Digital 1m is a 75 ohm digital coaxial interconnect for high-frequency S/PDIF connections. Its classic coaxial topology is designed to preserve the precise sharp transition of the digital signal and prevent added jitter. A 75 ohm conductor is required for the signal to arrive intact without echoes caused by impedance variations.
The cable uses a DCT solid copper central conductor within an air-blown polyurethane foam web. This is wrapped in DCT copper foil and then a DCT copper wire shield, with the assembly contained inside a PVC jacket. Townshend DCT Digital is available with BNC or collet-clamping Neutrik RCA phono plugs, and can also be supplied with a BNC connector at one end and an RCA connector at the other. Only BNC provides a true 75 ohm termination.
The Isolda DCT Digital has not yet been reviewed. Hundreds of customers have reported being satisfied with it, with many describing it as good value.
