D7.2
The Spendor D7.2 employs a fifth-generation Linear Flow twin-Venturi port, an 18cm advanced polymer-cone drive unit and an LPZ phase-correcting tweeter. This floorstanding loudspeaker uses dynamic damping to minimise cabinet resonances, while its stabiliser plate system supports solid floor mounting.

The Spendor D7.2 is a floorstanding loudspeaker from the D-Line range, designed for use with all good amplifiers. Its slim enclosure and modern finishes allow it to be placed in dedicated listening rooms or everyday living spaces.
Spendor’s research into cabinet damping, advanced polymers, the amplifier-loudspeaker interface, low-frequency airflow and sound behaviour informs the D7.2 design. The cabinet uses dynamic damping to minimise resonances, together with asymmetric bracing and a high-rigidity stabiliser plate system for solid floor mounting.
The D7.2 uses a Spendor LPZ phase-correcting tweeter, built around a stainless steel front plate that forms an acoustic chamber directly in front of the lightweight diaphragm. Its phase-correcting microfoil equalises sound wave path lengths and generates a symmetrical pressure environment, allowing the tweeter to operate in a balanced linear mode.
Its mid-bass drive unit has an advanced EP77 polymer cone, while the low-frequency drive unit uses a bonded Kevlar composite. Low-frequency airflow is handled by the fifth-generation Spendor Linear Flow port, with a twin-Venturi, tapered baffle element working with the dynamic damping, asymmetric bracing and rigid plinth mountings.
The crossover network uses gold conductors, with silver-plated pure copper internal cables throughout. Recessed, high-quality alloy binding posts are fitted to the rear. Premium lacquer and standard veneer finishes are available.
