CS200

The McIntosh CS200 is a 3-way in-ceiling loudspeaker for custom whole-home distributed audio installations, dedicated home theatres and surround sound systems. It can be used with the MI128 or MI254 distribution amplifiers, and with McIntosh A/V processors and multi-channel amplifiers.

The CS200 is voice matched to the WS500 and WS300 in-wall speakers, allowing the in-ceiling and wall-mounted speakers to be used together with a consistent sound. Its driver arrangement comprises an 8" woven glass fibre woofer, 2 x 2" inverted Titanium dome midranges and a 3/4" Titanium dome tweeter. The midranges and tweeter are mounted in a rotating array, allowing their orientation to be adjusted for the individual space.

The midrange and tweeter drivers are also used in the XR50 and XR100 home audio speakers. The grille attaches magnetically for removal, can be painted and leaves little to no visible edge of the mounting flange, allowing the CS200 to blend into its surroundings. An optional RK200 rough-in kit is available.
