cor
The PMC cor, an analogue integrated amplifier, reproduces music without adding its own character and follows PMC’s approach of musicality, transparency and neutrality. Hand-built in the UK, it offers 4 unbalanced RCA inputs, 1 pair of balanced XLR inputs and direct inputs, with remotely controllable motorised volume, tone and balance controls.

The PMC cor is an analogue integrated amplifier designed and hand-built by PMC in the UK. It is intended for high-resolution playback, following the same design approach used for PMC loudspeakers: musicality, transparency and neutrality, with no added or removed sonic character. Its role is to reproduce music as it is meant to be heard.
The name cor comes from the dictionary definition of heart in anatomy and soul or mind in a figurative sense. The amplifier operates entirely in the analogue domain, with 4 unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, 1 pair of balanced XLR inputs and a set of direct inputs connected straight to the power amplifier. There are no digital inputs.
PMC developed each part of the cor with sound purity as the main criterion, selecting components after extensive listening tests. The black PCBs are joined by a volume control, tone fader and balance fader, all motorised using technology from professional mixing consoles. These controls can be operated by remote control, allowing adjustments without leaving your armchair.
The PMC cor integrated amplifier is designed for analogue listening where the character of the recording remains unchanged.
