Colourful System

The Pro-Ject Colourful System is an all-in-one hi-fi system with a Debut Carbon EVO turntable, MaiA S3 integrated amplifier, Speaker Box 5 S2 loudspeakers, Connect IT LS S2 speaker cable and Damp IT isolation accessories. It provides a complete system without requiring separate peripherals or additional equipment, while the turntable is designed to care for records during playback.

Debut Carbon EVO

The Debut Carbon EVO is built around the core design features that contribute to turntable performance. It uses a technically correct design, expert craftsmanship and construction by hand in the EU. Features that could adversely affect audio performance or longevity have been omitted. A separate phono stage is preferred at this level, so the system includes the Pro-Ject MaiA S3 integrated amplifier.

The turntable has a heavy, solid MDF plinth, available in 8 hand-painted finishes selected to reflect current trends and customer preferences. Its revised platter, motor suspension, speed control and height-adjustable feet work together as part of the updated Debut Carbon EVO design. The turntable is built to last a lifetime.

MaiA S3

The MaiA S3, named for My Audio Integrated Amplifier, is an integrated amplifier for a complete hi-fi system. It has 8 inputs, including a phono RCA input for MM, MI and high-output MC cartridges, plus 3 line-level RCA inputs for sources such as the CD Box S3.

Digital sources, including a television or CD transport, can be connected through the coaxial or optical S/PDIF inputs. The MaiA S3 DAC supports resolutions up to 24-bit and 192kHz. Mobile phones, tablets and PCs can connect through Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, supporting audio up to 24-bit and 48kHz. This exceeds standard CD quality.

Speaker Box 5 S2

The Speaker Box 5 S2 uses a 25 mm silk-dome tweeter and a 130 mm fibreglass-cone mid/bass driver. The tweeter handles high frequencies, while the fibreglass cone produces the midrange and bass. The speaker is designed to provide a spacious, detailed presentation with full-bodied mids and controlled bass.

Speaker Box 5 S2 loudspeakers are made entirely in Europe from materials selected for resistance and reduced environmental impact. A specialist adhesive holds each cabinet together and prevents air leakage.

Connect IT LS S2 and Damp IT

Connect IT LS S2 is a speaker cable using 4 0.96mm2 solid-core conductors arranged in a circular-array geometry. Each conductor is made from high-purity oxygen-free copper, HP-OFC.

Damp IT supports bookshelf speakers and helps prevent the transmission of structure-borne sound from subsonic frequencies up to 500 Hz. Its effect is similar to that of electronic subsonic filters, without the associated sonic disadvantages.
