The Chord Cables ClearwayX XLR 1m pair carries greater musical detail, dynamics, definition and clarity from modern digital and analogue sources, while maintaining a neutral, transparent presentation. Its ARAY conductor geometry uses heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper, FEP insulation, dual-layer counter-wound foil shielding and Neutrik silver-plated XLR plugs.
The Clearway interconnect uses the ARAY conductor geometry first introduced by Chord on the Chord C-line. It has heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper conductors, FEP insulation and dual-layer, counter-wound heavy-gauge foil shielding.
These changes allow the Clearway to carry more musical detail, with improved dynamics, more realistic-sounding instruments and voices, and greater definition and clarity. It is designed to carry the musical coherence produced by modern digital and analogue sources.
The Clearway Analogue design adapts the ARAY conductor configuration for XLR termination, using identical conductors for the hot, cold and earth connections. This produces a neutral and transparent cable. The Clearway Analogue XLR is fitted with Neutrik silver-plated XLR plugs.
Standard lengths are 1m and 0.5m, with custom lengths available to order.
