Clearway Subwoofer RCA 3m Speaker Cable
The Chord Cables Clearway Subwoofer RCA 3m, an analogue subwoofer interconnect, uses heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper conductors, FEP insulation and dual-layer, counter-wound heavy-gauge foil shielding. Its ARAY geometry supports control and definition across bass frequencies, while the silver-plated RCA plugs suit connections in music systems and home cinema.
Chord based the Clearway design on the C-line, retaining its ARAY conductor geometry while upgrading the materials. The conductors use heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper, the insulation is FEP, and the shielding is a dual-layer, counter-wound heavy-gauge foil design. The result is a handmade, high-performance analogue interconnect.
ARAY and Tuned ARAY cable designs are particularly effective across bass frequencies, providing control and definition. They also offer improved dynamics, timbre and coherence, making them suitable for subwoofer applications in both music systems and home cinema.
The Clearway subwoofer cable combines this construction with a considered balance between cost and performance, including over longer cable lengths.
The Clearway Subwoofer cable is available with Chord VEE 3 silver-plated RCA plugs or Neutrik silver-plated XLR connectors.
Standard lengths are 3m and 5m, with custom lengths available to order.
