Clearway Analogue DIN/RCA 1m

The Chord Cables Clearway Analogue DIN/RCA 1m pairs DIN and RCA connections with ARAY conductor geometry and heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper. FEP insulation and dual-layer, counter-wound heavy-gauge foil shielding support musical detail, definition and clarity while preserving coherence from analogue and digital players.

The Clearway Analogue is based on the design of the C-line, with upgraded materials used to produce a handmade analogue interconnect.

The Clearway interconnect uses the ARAY conductor geometry first used on the Chord C-line. The conductors are heavier-gauge oxygen-free copper, the insulation is FEP, and the shielding uses a dual-layer, counter-wound, heavy-gauge foil design.

These changes allow the Clearway to carry more musical detail. Dynamics, instrumental and vocal realism, definition and clarity are improved. It is designed to preserve the coherence produced by current digital and analogue players, including more affordable equipment.

DIN connectors were a key consideration in the design of the Clearway Analogue, allowing it to be configured as either a DIN to DIN or DIN to RCA cable.

DIN sockets are commonly found on Naim Audio equipment and older Quad models. The Clearway Analogue DIN cables can be supplied with either 4-pin or 5-pin silver-plated DIN plugs, in push-fit metal, plastic for Quad, or Preh locking-ring variants for Naim Audio.

As with the Clearway RCA, the Clearway DIN cables use the ARAY conductor configuration for DIN to DIN and DIN to RCA connections. They are designed to carry the same degree of musical coherence and detail as the RCA version. They can be used with a current Naim amplifier or an older Quad preamplifier and power amplifier.

The standard length for Clearway DIN cables is 1m. Shorter cables were found to have a detrimental effect on Naim Audio amplifiers. Longer custom lengths are available.
