Classic 3/1

The Spendor Classic 3/1 is a British-designed and manufactured loudspeaker from the Classic range, developed for audiophiles, musicians and professional sound engineers. Spendor Classic loudspeakers have been produced for over 5 decades and are regarded by many as a reference standard.

Following the worldwide response to the flagship SP200, Spendor introduced its most significant performance improvements across the range in 2017. The Classic 3/1 uses the latest generation of Spendor drive units, with advanced polymer and Kevlar cones, cast magnesium alloy chassis, high-efficiency motor systems, optimised electrodynamic damping and thermal dissipation.

Its crossover network has been refined, while the cabinet structure uses new elastomer panel damping. A magnetic grille completes the updated cabinet design. These changes retain the warmth and charm associated with the original 1970s Spendor Classic loudspeakers.
