Classic 2/3

The Spendor Classic 2/3 is a British-made standmount loudspeaker developed from more than 5 decades of Spendor Classic loudspeaker design. The range has been used by audiophiles, musicians and professional sound engineers, and follows the performance improvements introduced across the Spendor range in 2017 after the worldwide response to the flagship SP200.

The Spendor Classic 2/3 uses the new generation of Spendor drive units, with advanced polymer and Kevlar cones, cast magnesium alloy chassis, high-efficiency motor systems, optimised electro-dynamic damping and thermal dissipation. Its crossover network has been refined, while the cabinet incorporates an updated structure, elastomer panel damping and a magnetic grille.

These developments retain the warmth and character associated with the original 1970s Spendor Classic loudspeakers, alongside greater transparency and dynamic contrast. Each loudspeaker is calibrated and matched to broadcast reference standard.
