B-7 Ceramic X

The Gold Note B-7 Ceramic X is a premium 9-inch tonearm developed for high-end vinyl systems where precision, mechanical stability and low resonance are essential. Combining a lightweight titanium arm tube with custom ceramic bearings, it is designed to allow the cartridge to track the record groove with exceptional accuracy while preserving the finest musical detail.

The arm wand is manufactured from titanium and uses a carefully engineered 12mm tube with six sections of differing thickness. This sophisticated construction provides an excellent balance between rigidity, low mass and resonance control, helping the cartridge retrieve subtle information without adding unwanted coloration.

At the pivot, custom-made ceramic ball bearings manufactured by GRW in Germany provide extremely smooth and precise movement. Their low friction allows the stylus to follow even the smallest groove modulations accurately, contributing to improved image stability, low-level resolution and a more natural sense of musical flow.

The B-7 Ceramic X also provides the adjustment required for precise cartridge setup, including VTA adjustment at the arm collar. This allows the arm to be carefully matched to different cartridges and turntable configurations, helping achieve optimum tracking geometry and performance.

Internally, the tonearm uses high-quality AWG36 Hyper Litz shielded wiring made from 99.9999% OFC copper. The delicate cartridge signal is therefore carried through the arm with minimal interference, preserving detail and dynamic information before it reaches the phono stage.
