B-5.2

The Gold Note B-5.2 is a high-performance 9-inch tonearm designed and handmade in Italy to deliver precise tracking, excellent mechanical stability and a natural, refined musical presentation. Its carefully engineered construction makes it an ideal partner for a wide range of high-quality turntables and phono cartridges.

The arm uses four high-precision micro ball bearings manufactured specifically for Gold Note by GRW in Germany. These bearings are individually sealed to maintain their performance and allow the arm to move freely and accurately across the record, helping the stylus follow the groove with minimal resistance and unwanted mechanical noise.

A straight arm tube constructed from 6000-series aluminium provides an excellent combination of rigidity and low mass. This helps control unwanted resonance while allowing the cartridge to retrieve fine detail, dynamics and spatial information from the record groove with accuracy.

With an effective length of 242mm and a 19mm overhang, the B-5.2 has been designed for straightforward installation on a wide range of high-end turntables. Adjustable VTA and azimuth allow the cartridge to be precisely aligned, while the five-position anti-skating system helps maintain consistent tracking across the record.

The stainless-steel counterweight provides accurate tracking-force adjustment and enables the B-5.2 to accommodate cartridges weighing up to 15g. Optional additional counterweights are also available for heavier cartridges, giving the arm excellent flexibility when upgrading or changing cartridges in the future.

High-quality internal Hyper Litz OFC wiring carries the delicate cartridge signal through the arm, while a supplied 1.5m DIN-to-RCA cable provides a complete connection to the phono stage.
