The Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition is a headphone music streaming system for personal listening. It combines a streamer, DAC and headphone amplifier in a single unit, so no separate computer or streaming device is required. Add headphones to access your digital music collection, Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify, Internet radio, HD stations and podcasts.
The music-streaming platform also supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in and Roon Ready operation. Analogue and digital inputs allow connection of other sources, including turntables, while the USB input supports playback from USB sticks and drives. Supported music files can be played at resolutions up to 32bit/384kHz.
Naim has re-engineered the Uniti Atom platform for headphone listening, using technology from its Statement amplifier in a new discrete headphone amplifier. The circuit can power high-end headphones such as Focal Utopia and provides balanced outputs through both 4 pin XLR and Pentaconn connections, alongside a standard 6.3mm output. A new transformer design supplies power specifically to the headphone amplification circuitry.
Uniti Atom Headphone Edition can also operate as a streaming pre-amplifier for active loudspeakers, or as a source for a power amplifier driving passive speakers. It was designed as a complete music streaming system for solo listening, with the option to connect headphones directly.
