AG-12

The Furutech AG-12 is a phono cable with DIN/RCA and right-angled DIN/RCA termination options, including the Ag-12-L(L-Din/RCA). It uses a non-magnetic, rhodium-plated DIN connector and rhodium-plated RCA connectors.

Its construction follows Furutech’s award-winning Pure Transmission approach, examining each part of power and signal transfer through optimised engineering. This addresses contact resistance, grounding, electromagnetic interference and radio-frequency interference rejection, using the specified materials and manufacturing processes.

The AG-12 uses a silver-plated µ-OFC conductor, 4-layer shielding for improved noise insulation, and Furutech-engineered rhodium-plated DIN or L-DIN connectors with FP-126(R) Alpha-OCC RCA connectors. Damping and insulation materials are used to support frequency extension and tonal balance, while the carefully engineered cable clamp improves grip and reduces mechanical and electrically induced distortion.
