The Acoustic Energy AE509 is a slim-line floor-standing loudspeaker designed for medium to large sized rooms. Its compact dimensions allow the cabinet to maintain a relatively small footprint while providing a full-range floor-standing design.
As part of the Acoustic Energy 500 Series, the AE509 offers higher levels of performance and finish than its equivalent in the 300 Series. The design uses newly developed carbon fibre tweeters and mid/bass drivers, created to match the pistonic power and accuracy associated with the company’s ceramic aluminium drivers.
These carbon fibre drive units also provide improved self-damping, supporting a smoother and more transparent sound. Clean, uncluttered lines accompany a powerful presentation that reflects the character Acoustic Energy owners have come to expect over more than 30 years.
