ACS10
The Aurender ACS10 gives a digital audio system computer-free CD ripping, network storage and library management, with metadata editing and USB audio output for use as a digital transport or central server hub. Its CD-ROM drive and ripping engine create FLAC, WAV or AIFF files, while RAID1 storage, isolated USB circuitry and a linear power supply support the architecture.

The Aurender Content Server, ACS10, is designed to remove the need for computers and other IT products in a digital audio system. It combines CD ripping, Network Attached Storage with RAID mirroring, advanced library management and metadata editing with USB audio output.
ACS10 can operate as a stand-alone Digital Transport, using the filtered and isolated USB audio output found on Aurender's higher-end models. The ACS Manager companion app provides library management tools from an iPad or Android tablet.
A CD-ROM drive and ACS's CD ripping engine create files from CDs in FLAC, WAV or AIFF formats. Metadata is retrieved automatically and can be edited if required.
ACS10 can also operate as a Central Server Hub for other Aurender players, making it suitable for large music libraries or multiple high-end systems. Connectivity is provided over the network, so ACS10 can be placed in the main audio system or in a separate location.
Automatic CD Ripping
ACS converts CD collections to file-based formats using its optical drive and customised CD ripping engine. The process provides lossless, error-corrected rips.
Dedicated USB Audio Output
USB can transfer noise between devices. Aurender's dedicated USB audio output is physically and electrically isolated from the noise-generating CPU board to minimise noise in the audio interconnect.
Metadata Editing and Library Management
The ACS Manager app provides tools to manage, catalogue and organise a large music library for straightforward access.
Audio Grade Linear Power Supply with UPS
ACS10 uses a fully linear power supply block to provide a low noise floor from a digital source component. Its Super Capacitor UPS system protects the Aurender in the event of an abrupt loss of power.
Built-In Storage Capacity
ACS10 is configured with 2 x 8TB in RAID1, with the 2 hard disk drives set up as mirror images in case of drive failure. The system can be reconfigured to use the full capacity of both drives where more storage is required. ACS10 can also be specified with up to 2 x 14TB hard disk drives.
Processing Power
The ACS system incorporates processing power and system memory intended to provide headroom for expanded functionality.
