A housing for high frequencies
The 700 Series uses the latest generation Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing. Its longer form incorporates an extended tube-loading system, designed to provide a more free and open high-frequency presentation. The decoupled housing is milled from a single block of aluminium to resist resonance.

Carbon Dome tweeters are designed for the 700 Series. Compared with the aluminium double dome tweeter, they increase the breakup threshold to 47kHz, supporting precise imaging and detail.
Continuumâ„¢ cone
Its composite construction allows the Continuumâ„¢ cone to avoid the abrupt behavioural transitions that can affect conventional drive units. This supports an open, neutral presentation of voices and instruments, with precision and transparency.
Clear midrange
Each 3-way loudspeaker in the new 700 Series includes a dedicated midrange cone using 4 Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, FST™, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling. The latter reduces interference from the loudspeaker’s bass drivers.
Aerofoilâ„¢ Profile bass cone
Developed using advanced computer modelling, the Aerofoilâ„¢ Profile bass cone has variable thickness to provide stiffness and rigidity where required. The result is deep, dynamic bass.
