6PerspeX Balanced UK Superpack

The Pro-Ject 6PerspeX Balanced UK SuperPack is a premium, ready-to-play turntable package that combines sophisticated isolation, precision engineering and true balanced connectivity with upgraded tonearm and cartridge technology.

Its distinctive transparent acrylic plinth supports a magnetically isolated Corian sub-chassis, allowing the platter and tonearm assembly to effectively float above the main structure. This helps protect the cartridge from external vibration and resonance, creating a quieter mechanical environment for accurate record playback.

The UK SuperPack upgrades the standard 6PerspeX Balanced with Pro-Ject's 9CC EVO High Gloss tonearm. Its precision ABEC 7 bearings provide smooth, accurate movement, while the rigid carbon-fibre arm construction is designed to track the record groove with excellent stability and control.

A Pro-Ject Pick it MC3 moving coil cartridge is supplied pre-installed and aligned, making the turntable ready for use with a suitable moving coil phono stage. The MC3 is also compatible with Pro-Ject's True Balanced Connection concept, allowing the naturally balanced cartridge signal to be maintained through the turntable's MiniXLR output when partnered with a compatible phono stage and cable.

The precision-balanced sandwich platter features a 4mm vinyl playing surface, providing a stable and acoustically suitable interface for the record without requiring a separate mat. An inverted main bearing with ceramic ball supports smooth rotation, while the supplied record clamp secures the record firmly to the platter.

Drive is provided by a separately isolated AC motor powered by a sophisticated DC/AC generator. Electronic switching between 33 and 45rpm provides convenient speed selection, while the precision belt-drive arrangement helps maintain excellent rotational stability and keeps motor vibration away from the platter.
