The Bryston 2.5B SST³ is a precision power amplifier designed for low distortion, stability and long-term reliability. It uses an active, low-distortion input buffer with balanced and unbalanced inputs, together with selectable 23dB or 29dB gain for system matching.
All voltage-gain stages use regulated power supplies. Each channel has an independent supply to improve separation and maintain consistent performance.
The amplifier uses a fully aluminium, convection-cooled chassis with no fans or moving parts. This provides silent operation and supports long-term performance.
A rear-panel bridging switch converts the amplifier into a single 360W mono channel when additional power is required.
