We are closing over the Christmas holidays from the 20th of December and return on the 3rd of January. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In the six years since the last NAIT integrated amplifiers were released, Naim's research and development team have worked on a range of upgrades and improvements. The NAIT XS 3 and SUPERNAIT 3 now join the NAIT 5SI to complete the NAIT range.
In 1983 Naim launched one of Naim’s most iconic products, the NAIT Amplifier. Just over 36 years later and they’ve launched the latest in the NAIT range namely, SUPERNAIT 3 and NAIT XS 3 - as they look to enhance the reputation of the legendary range.
The term NAIT doesn’t just describe a product range, it defines a philosophy; a way of thinking born with the original NAIT 1. It places the highest value on simplicity and focus. It demands that Naim attend to every detail in design; it’s the only way they can give you the best possible sound. Channelling this very philosophy into the latest NAITs Naim bring you as close as possible to the music.
SUPERNAIT 3 and NAIT XS 3 build on the success of their respective predecessors with extensive improvements, all in service of the sound. The new NAITs feature classic Naim moving magnet phono stage designs crafted from audiophile-quality components – expertly grouped and selected before manufacturing for optimum accuracy. You can upgrade to moving coil compatibility via an external StageLine on the powered socket.
Each component within the amplifiers has been scientifically examined as Naim's R&D team look to capitalise on the opportunity to further enhance the Naim signature sound. This has been achieved through extensive redevelopment, from optimising the second gain stage transistors to doubling the speed of the voltage gain stage. Improvements can be found throughout the components resulting in the best-sounding integrated amplifiers Naim has ever produced, and with love for vinyl!
The SUPERNAIT 3 and the NAIT XS 3 include a Class A preamp output stage which doubles as a headphone amplifier and ceramic heatsink technology that minimises capacitive coupling between the chassis and output transistors for optimum sound quality. Its inputs are each individually decoupled and hand-wired to minimise noise and interference while internal switching employs ultra-low-noise, constant current sources which are derived directly from the electronic design of the flagship NAC 552 preamplifier.
