It’s been 3 months and I’m still trying to find a way…..
Do I really need 2 kidneys? Like really?
And it hasn’t stopped there either. I am now paying more attention to the CCTV locations in my local Natwest branch and subconsciously timing the arrival of the Securicor van. Maybe the only surefire way of doing this legitimately is to join my local constituency and claim for it for my second home in Surrey. Either way this thing has to happen. Somehow….
You may remember from my very first post about my recent McIntosh factory tour that we were teased with the prospect of their demo theatre later that day. Well here it is in all it’s glory. Possibly the finest piece of high-end ‘willy waggling’ in recent history. Why? Because they can.

Musical Fidelity’s resurgence continues……
Following on from the amazing reviews for the world class Primo preamplifier and AMS35i integrated, Musical Fidelity have had yet another stunning appraisal, this time it’s the AMS50 from the March 2010 issue of Hi-Fi World magazine. Below are a couple of extracts from the review itself….

It’s been showtime again and this month we have been at Manchester for the Northern High Fidelity Show 2010.
Room 110
In our main room we decided on a little exclusive. The highly praised Systemdek brand from years back is soon to be making a comeback to the UK marketplace with a stunning array of high-end turntables and we thought we be first to show you what they’ve been up to. Featuring simply beautiful build quality and running the much revered Audio Origami PU-7 12″ arm, the Systemdek 3D TT sounded simply sensational with our Transfiguration Orpheus cartridge at the business end. Prices are yet to be confirmed but the competition should be worried, very worried. The suspension mechanism defies belief when you see it in operation. No amount of knocking or tapping could persuade the needle out of it’s natural home to a point where it just got laughable.
